Usually when requesting a payment using Faster Payments scheme we initiate the payment straight away, which means your payment can be confirmed in seconds. If you want to set up payments in advance, for example, when paying a payroll, then you can use a date in the future as part of the payment request. This requested date will depend on their being funds in the account and the payment being approved. This option is available as part of this request: Create a payment
